At the Abilities Unlimited Retail Store, every purchase has a purpose. By donating and shopping with us, you’re not just finding a great deal on items you need, you’re providing our clients with meaningful work experience, life skills, and the pride of earning their own paycheck.
What We Do
Our retail store operates thanks to generous donations from the community. Items such as clothing, furniture, kitchenware, and other household goods can be dropped off at our downtown location where they will be cleaned and sorted by our dedicated team, and resold to support our work programs. Every dollar spent in our store helps fund essential services like life skills training, employment assistance, and community integration.
Who We Are
Our store is run by a small, hardworking team, including one staff member and six clients who are part of Abilities Unlimited’s employment program. Working in the store provides these individuals with hands-on experience in retail operations, customer service, and inventory management—all essential skills for living a more independent and productive life.
What We Accept
We gladly accept donations of gently used clothing, furniture, electronics, household items, books, and more. If you have questions about specific items, please contact us before dropping them off. Unfortunately, we cannot accept items such as large appliances, mattresses, or hazardous materials.
