Abilities Unlimited, Inc. of Magnolia is a nonprofit organization that has been serving individuals with developmental disabilities since 1962. We focus on training and employment opportunities through a range of pre-vocational services, including our Work Activity Program, Adult Development Program, School to Work Program, Life Skills and job training in partnership with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services. Our referral sources include ARS, Developmental Disabilities Services, and local schools. We also provide support and follow-up services for trainees placed in jobs.

A large portion of our funding is generated through our contracts with industry. We make every effort to bring jobs and equipment into our organization that can teach and duplicate skills found in local industries and businesses. This job match training better prepares our clients for competitive employment. Some of the jobs presently performed are assembly, packaging, quality assurance, material handler, equipment operator, retail sales, rag sales, and janitorial maintenance.

Abilities Unlimited accepts adults age 17 and up for the Adult Development Program, Pre-vocational and Vocational Training. Meals and transportation are available.  Services are provided for people living in Columbia, Ouachita, Nevada, Lafayette and Union Counties in Southwest Arkansas.
